These Terms and Conditions apply to services provided by BagBoxShip when arranging shipments via Royal Mail and third-party courier services, including UPS, DHL Express, and DPD. Each carrier/service is subject to its own specific rules, restrictions, and liability limits.
BagBoxShip acts as a packing, storage, and shipping arrangement service. Where a shipment is booked, we arrange postage or courier services on behalf of the customer. Once an item is handed over to Royal Mail or a courier, delivery is subject to that carrier’s own terms and conditions. We are not the carrier.
Customers must ensure that:
We accept no liability for delays, loss, confiscation, or penalties resulting from incorrect information, incorrect declarations, or prohibited/restricted items.
Once an item has been dispatched via Royal Mail or a courier, shipping charges are non-refundable.
Items must comply with carrier prohibited and restricted items lists. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance.
Do not send: explosives, fireworks, ammunition, flammable/toxic/corrosive/hazardous goods, aerosols or gas canisters, drugs/controlled substances, weapons (including knives), counterfeit/stolen goods, cash/jewellery/precious metals/high-value watches, perishable food, live animals, and any item restricted by destination laws.
Where courier “document” services are used, customers should not send passports/visas, residence permits, national ID cards/driving licences, bank cards, cash/cheques, or documents with significant monetary value. Sending these items is at the customer’s risk.
Items are handled with care, but storage and shipping remain subject to declared contents and carrier/service terms.
BagBoxShip reserves the right to refuse or cancel any service that breaches these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By using our services, customers confirm they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
We collect only the information needed to respond to your quote request and provide storage/shipping services.
We may share necessary details with couriers/carriers only when arranging shipping (for example: name, address, contact details, and customs information where required).
We keep information only as long as needed for the service, accounting, and legal requirements.
